Euro is weak against Sterling

This is nothing new; the value of euro against sterling has been declining. This decline is also steady since March 2014 with 1€ worth £0.79 in August 2014 compared to 1€ worth £0.86 last year. Do you realize that? On august 6th of this year, the pound euro exchange rate (GBP/EUR) was 1.25995 (-0.18%). Although some economics data recently showed a slowdown in UK (essentially salaries and housing), Sterling remains at a very strong level against Euro. However, this attractive level is not surprising. It is now 22 months that Sterling is high against the euro. In spite of a very supportive European Central Bank (ECB), the EU markets are so far behind the UK in terms of economic recovery because of the value of the currency. The weakness of euro could still be explained in part by the fact that the figures of activity in the services sector was “disappointed”, showing a lower than expected growth, which has fueled persistent fears missteps of recovery. So, what can we do to make a profit out of this attractive level of the sterling? Real estate market is probably the good deal.
